By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Jamaican authorities have charged Khadene Thomas, a wealth advisor from a bank in St. Ann, Jamaica after US $143,000 was missing from a customer’s account.
According to Loop, Thomas is accused of fraudulently withdrawing funds from a customer of the bank between 2020 and 2022.
Police charged Thomas with forgery, uttering forged documents, unauthorized access to computer data, access with intent to computer data, larceny as a servant, and engaging in a transaction involving criminal property.
Thomas is accused of conducting a number of unauthorized transfers from a customer’s account to her account between July 2020 and October 2022.
