Ministry of Infrastructure Development upgrades San Pablo Road in Toledo District

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) continues upgrading Toledo rural roads.

“Major works are currently ongoing on the San Pablo Road in the Toledo District. Our teams take advantage of every rare dry spell to upgrade miles of road in rural communities in the South,” the MIDH said.

“While we do not have the resources for a permanent fix, we will ensure that residents of these southern communities can move in safety and comfort.”

Just last week, the MIDH said it was working on the Trio Road in Toledo and was also upgrading the sugar access road in Northern Belize in places like Libertad and Douglas Rio Hondo.

“It is literally impossible for our crews to be everywhere at once, but once we are made aware of a situation which impacts the movement of our people, we will always act,” the MIDH said.
