Jared Ranguy’s trial for triple murder adjourned until March

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The trial of Jared Ranguy, who stands accused of triple murder was adjourned this week.

Ranguy appeared in the High Court of Belize on Tuesday to have the case adjourned until March 27.

Ranguy stands accused of the November 2012 murders of his mother Karen Skeen Vellos, sister Teena and stepfather Richard Vellos back in November 2012. Further allegations are that he was under the influence of drugs at the time.

He was granted bail by the then Supreme Court in November 2021 in the sum of $30,000 but was unable to meet it.

He remains on remand at the Belize Central Prison.
