Quiroz, who has been riding locally for the 501 Valvoline Cycling Team, is moving up to the pro-level as he joins the Miami-based team. Over the last couple of years, Quiroz has been doing a number of exceptional performances, particularly in the Caribbean where he gained a senior road subchampionship.
Quiroz is joining Holy Saturday Cross Country champion Hasani Hennis from Anguilla. Hennis is one of four returning cyclists. The others are Dante Young, Jonathan Brown, and Joshua Kelly.
The six other new riders are Daniel Estevez, Ruben Companioni, Alexis Costa, Brandon Feeehery, Spencer Moavenzadeh, and Tanner Ward.
The Miami Blazers announced last November that they had signed Quiroz on a one-year contract.
The Miami Blazers competed in the 10-race American Criterium Cup series in 2022 and are expected to do so again this year.
Quiroz joins Kaya Cattouse, who was recruited by the LA Sweat last year, as as pto rider in the international circuit.
