Prime Minister and LEAP Global missions discuss plans for new pediatric ward at Northern Regional

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Prime Minister John Briceno met with representatives from LEAP Global Missions, Dr. Craig Hobar and Dr. Chris Connor and local Rotary Representatives John Burgos – President and Rebecca Urbina.

LEAP Global Missions is a group of professionals that are dedicated to enhancing and enriching the lives of people around the world by providing free specialized medical and surgical services inspired by the love of Christ.

The Prime Minister noted that discussions included collaboration with the Government of Belize to construct a much needed pediatric ward at the Northern Regional Hospital.

“Our work helps those who have no other options. By giving of our time and expertise, loving unconditionally and humbly serving humanity, we demonstrate our faith through actions. We strive to always act in a manner that mirrors our strong beliefs,” LEAP’s website noted.
