Family of ‘Big Jay’ launches Go Fund me to pay for medical expenses 

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Marco Escalera affectionately known as ‘Big Jay’ or ‘Jello’ was involved in a traffic accident on January 18, 2023. 

Escalera is currently in a coma and his family has launched a Go Fund me page to assist with medical expenses.

Escalera’s leg is broken in 3 places and his hip is also broken.

According to the Go Fund me page, due to the nature of the surgery, he had to be taken to the Belize Medical Associates.

An estimate shared on Facebook shows a total of $45,900 and the family says they must make a payment of $30,000 by this afternoon.
