Eufemio Garcia shot dead in front of Yo Creek store

By Aaron Humes: A Yo Creek man previously targeted in a shooting incident last October was shot again Saturday night, this time fatally.

38-year-old Eufemio García was found mortally wounded in front of the store, while three other men had been taken to the Northern Regional Hospital for treatment. These men have been identified as Brandon Garcia, 28; Alder Valencia, 24, and Pedro Garcia, particulars not known.

Initial investigation reveals that Eufemio García was socializing in front of LaLu shop along with the other three men, when another man dressed in a long jeans pants, a grey long sleeve shirt with hoodie jacket and black mask covering his face, approached Eufemio García and proceeded to fire several shots in his direction, causing fatal injuries to Garcia and injuries to the other men.

The remaining victims are listed in stable condition in hospital and police investigations are underway.
