Full skeleton recovered from shallow grave in Port

By Aaron Humes: Further to our earlier story of a human foot being found in the Port Loyola area, Police have confirmed that they have recovered what appears to be the remains of a male person earlier today in Belize City.

The remains have since been transported to the National Forensic Science Service (NFSS) morgue pending further examination.

The first information came around 2 p.m. of a shallow grave located behind the Port of Belize. The grave was located about 100 yards from a feeder road behind the Port and measured a foot and a half deep.

Along with the remains, there was also found a green camouflaged shirt and black jeans short pants

A post-mortem examination is planned as the police investigation continues.
