Orange Walk Football Association quarterfinalists decided

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Eight teams qualified for the Orange Walk Football Association Quarterfinals after the final four 1^st Division Championship games played on the weekend.

According to a report from Alex Palacio, Guinea Grass blasted the Red Devils 6-0 on four goals by Ornan Avila and one apiece by Darrel Corado and Zair Chan.

San Jose trounced Trinidad 5-1 on goals by Esmer Patt, Hector Nabet, Isaac Gillett, Brandon Coock, and Humberto Novelo. Enrique Ceceña scored for Trinidad.

Mi Gente edged Charlie’s Cave Tubing 4-3 on four goals by Emmanuel Aguilar. Diego Aimar Chan, Denilson Duane Sosa, and Jared Nahabi Patt scored for Charlie’s.

In the final match, Louisiana beat Palmar 5-3 in a penalty kicks shootout after a scoreless draw.

San Antonio, San Jose Pumas, Caribbean Rum Boyz, Progresso. Guinea Grass, San Jose, Mi Gente, and Louisiana have all qualified to the Quarterfinals which kick off on the weekend.
