By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service projects mainly fair weather today but changes tonight and tomorrow with the approach of a cold front crossing the country. Skies today will be mostly sunny with little or no rainfall apart from isolated inland afternoon and evening thunderstorms, but tonight will be cloudy with a few showers or light rain over most areas and a chance of an isolated thunderstorm.
High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 91 degrees over inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 75 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty; sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.
Tides will be high at 12:58 this afternoon, then low at 7:02 this evening. The sun sets at 5:44 this evening and rises at 6:25 Thursday morning.
Expect cloudy skies on Thursday with some showers or light rain over most areas and isolated thunderstorms.
