Ministry of Infrastructure Development continues upgrading Sundaywood-Corazon Road in Toledo District

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) said on Wednesday that their crews continue working on the Sundaywood-Corazon Road. Last week the MIDH had first reported the crews were busy conducting maintenance and upgrading on that road from Sundaywood to Conejo.

“Work on the Sundaywood/Corazon Road continues,” the MIDH said on Wednesday.

“This is a real labour of love and dedication from our teams, which have spent a lot of hours upgrading and maintaining roads in the South to ensure our people can move freely and safely.”

Last Thursday the MIDH said it was taking advantage of the dry weather to do “some heavy grading on the Sundaywood/Conejo road”.

As reported earlier, the MIDH has also been working in rural Toledo on Corazon/Otoxha, Crique Sarco, Trio, and San Pablo roads while also doing so in Northern Belize in access roads to Libertad and Douglas Rio Hondo. They have also been in the Belize District and in Cayo near Benque Viejo del Carmen and San Jose Succotz.
