Water truck overturns on John Smith Link Road

By Benjamin Flowers: A water truck overturned on the John Smith Link Road this afternoon.

Police say 61-year-old Roy Sutherland was traveling on the road in the direction of Ladyville when he heard a loud bang and began experiencing mechanical problems.

Sutherland told police that a broken spring in the vehicle caused the steering wheel to jam and the truck overturned.

He further told police that he did not suffer any injuries in the incident and did not need medical attention.
