Belize Weather: Last of cold front crossing today

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Skies today are projected to be cloudy with sunny breaks and partly cloudy to cloudy tonight, according to the National Meteorological Service. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will developm mainly along the coast this morning, moving inland by afternoon and decreasing tonight.

High temperatures peak at 82 degrees along the coast, 80 degrees inland and 74 degrees in the hills; tonight’s low temperatures will be 74 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly to northwesterly at five to 15 knots and sea state is choppy.

Tides will be low at 8:20 this morning and 9:25 this evening, and high at 2:21 this afternoon. The sun sets at a quarter to six and rises at 6:25 Saturday morning.

A return to fair weather is expected on Saturday with isolated showers.
