Jon, Vivian and David Ramnarace laid to rest today

By Benjamin Flowers: Funeral services for Jon Ramnarace, his wife Vivian, and his brother David Ramnarace, were held today.

They were all laid to rest following a memorial service at the Hilltop basketball court in Belmopan City.

The brothers were cremated, while Vivian had an open casket. The venue was packed with mourners that came to pay respects as well as supporters of the bereaved families.

Jon and David lost their lives in a brutal shooting on the night of New Year’s Eve 2022, while Vivian died 15 days later.

Police Corporal Elmer Nah has since been arrested and charged for the murder of the two brothers, and police say that plans are underway to have his charges with respect to Vivian upgraded to murder.
