Hattieville couple charged for drug trafficking

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Hattieville couple is out on bail after being charged with drug-related offenses.

Thirty-eight-year-old Anthony Domingo and 40-year-old Opra Hyde were arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court represented by attorney Oscar Selgado.

They were charged with one count of possession of controlled drugs with respect to 29.6 grams of marijuana, and one count of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another with respect to 5.7 grams of cocaine.

They both pleaded not guilty to both charges and were offered bail in the sum of $4,000 each plus one surety each of the same, which they were able to meet.

They are due back in court on March 23, 2023.
