Man charged with handling stolen goods had to serve jail time for unpaid court fines before getting disclosure

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man charged with handling stolen goods was jailed for not paying court fines and has finally received his disclosure after settling his debts.

Belize City resident 24-year-old, Ryan Harold Herbert was out on bail for the handling of stolen goods charge when it came to the attention of the court that he had unpaid fines from previous convictions.

He was jailed for defaulting those payments and upon settling that debt he was issued nine pages of witness statements and seven photographs of the crime scene.

His trial date has been set for April 11.
