Police shut down fake checkpoint in Belize City

By Aaron Humes: Authorities have detained an individual who was illegally operating a checkpoint on New Road in Belize City on Saturday.

Drivers complained they were being harassed by a man pretending to be a police officer on New Road.

Police neither sanctioned nor authorized activity in that area. Their investigation continues.
