“Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Taiwan has assisted Belize and many other countries in their response efforts, through the donation of essential medical supplies and equipment, including surgical and N95 masks, protective gowns, and ventilators. Taiwan has continued to support the health system in Belize,” the Government of Belize noted.

The Taiwan Embassy in Belize has extended gratitude to Belize and the Minister of Health and Wellness, Kevin Bernard for their unwavering support for Taiwan’s participation in the World Health Assembly (WHA).

“As Taiwan is a faithful ally to Belize, the Embassy keeps working with the Government of Belize in public health to further advance the welfare and benefit of our two peoples,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
