By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a report of a rape in the village of Lords’ Bank, Belize District, occurring late on Monday night.
A 23-year-old woman told police investigators that she was visiting a friend at her residence in Lords’ Bank where they and others were socializing around 11:30 Monday night. She claimed that she was then raped by a man known to her.
The victim has been medically examined and police continue their investigations.
