By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts an increase in moisture and showery activity between today and tomorrow. The 24-hour forecast is for cloudy skies with sunny breaks today and cloudy night, along with a gradual increase in showers and isolated thunderstorms this morning in the south and some coastal areas, spreading to most areas by tonight.
High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 87 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 72 degrees along the coast, 65 degrees inland and 61 degrees in the hills.
Winds will be easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is light chop.
Tides will be high at 9:40 this morning and 8:44 this evening and low at 2:25 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:48 this evening and rises at 6:24 Saturday morning.
Showers and periods of rain continue mainly in the north and along the coast on Saturday morning, gradually decreasing to isolated areas by Saturday night.
