Premier League of Belize leaders San Pedro Pirates challenge champions Altitude in their own backyard on Saturday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier League of Belize kicks off with three games on Saturday of which the most attractive is the battle between the present leaders San Pedro Pirates and the defending champions Altitude.

The match is set for 7:30 pm at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence/Mango Creek.

At the same time, Benque Viejo Police United take on Port Layola who are tied at the top with San Pedro with nine points each. The match is set for 7:30 pm.

The third match on Saturday will be played at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan between Bandits Sports and Progresso at 7:30 pm as well.

The final match of the weekend is set for Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm in Dangriga. Wagiya, looking for their first win, match up against their archrivals Verdes FC at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen.
