Belize Weather: Sunshine and showers mixed

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A relatively moist airflow prevails according to the National Meteorological Service, supporting a few showers and isolated thunderstorms along coastal areas this morning, moving inland by this afternoon and becoming generally isolated tonight. Skies will be sunny with cloudy intervals.

High temperatures reach 82 degrees Fahrenheit in coastal areas today; 83 degrees in inland areas and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 72 degrees along the coast, 64 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 10:07 this morning and 9:22 this evening and low at 3:08 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:49 this evening and rises at 6:23 Sunday morning.

Skies on Sunday will be partly cloudy and showers generally isolated.
