By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Taiwan Embassy in Belize has extended congratulations to Taiwanese volunteers Kelly Tseng and Jenny Hsieh for completing 1 year of service in Belize.

Tseng and Hsieh are volunteers from Taiwan International Cooperation Development Fund (TaiwanICDF).

They completed their service at the National Biodiversity Office (NBIO) of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Disaster Risk Management.

They met with Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien and shared their experience.

Tseng and Hsieh participated in various projects such as establishing a research permit database for the Ministry and assisting in the completion of the metadata sheets of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) indicators.

“The Embassy congratulates Kelly and Jenny for their fruitful journey in Belize and wishes them a safe trip back home and all the best for their future endeavor,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
