Belmopan Bandits draw 0-0 with Progresso in Premier League of Belize

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belmopan Bandits captured their second draw of the Premier League of Belize’s as they drew 0-0 with the visiting Progresso FC at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan on Sunday.

For the Bandits, that was their second draw against two losses in four outings meaning they only have two points and find themselves in the seventh spot in the PLB’s Closing Championship.

Progresso now have five points from a win, two draws and a loss, and while that’s not bad compared to the Bandits, they slid from the fourth to the fifth rung in the standings.

In the other Week 4 games, Benque Viejo United pulled off a 1-1 draw against leaders Port Layola in Benque, Altitude drew 2-2 with the San Pedro Pirates, and Verdes dropped Wagiya 3-1.
