Caribbean Rum Boyz edge San Jose Pumas 1-0, qualify for Orange Walk Football Association 1st Division Final

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Caribbean Rum Boyz slipped past the San Jose Pumas 1-0 on Sunday at the Louisiana Football Field to qualify for the 2022-2023 Orange Walk Football Association 1st Division Opening Championship Final.

Nazim Aldana converted the only goal of the match in the 59th minute according to a report by Alex Palacio, who was the Game Commissioner.

That was enough for the Rum Boyz to again make it to the final against Progresso who they beat last year 2-0 in the 2021-2022 OWFA Closing Championship on June 29.

Progresso qualified by virtue of a 2-1 win over the San Antonio in the other semifinal match.
