By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair weather continues today according to the National Meteorological Service but things turn cloudier with the approach of a cold front in the area. Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight; showers will be generally isolated except for the extreme south this morning.
High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees over inland areas; and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.
Tides will be high at 12:49 this afternoon then low at 7:23 this evening. The sun sets at 5:52 this evening and rises at 6:21 Saturday morning.
On Saturday expect cloudy intervals with a few outbreaks of showers developing mainly over the south and some coastal areas, associated with the approaching cold front.
