Belize Weather: Cool down expected later

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and mostly cloudy skies tonight ahead of an approaching cold front. Showers will be isolated except for a few over the center and south.

High temperatures reach 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees inland and 76 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight fall to 68 degrees along the coast, 64 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots and sea state is choppy.

Tides will be high at 1:19 this afternoon then low at 8:19 this evening. The sun sets at 5:52 this evening and rises at 6:21 Sunday morning.

As the cold front takes hold on Sunday, skies will be variably cloudy and conditions cool with showers mainly over the south and offshore.
