Drive-by shooting kills 21-year-old security guard in Fabers Road area

By Aaron Humes: Early this morning bullets fired from a passing vehicle took the life of KBH security guard Andre Vernon, 21, of the Fabers Road Extension area of Belize City.

Just after two this morning, Vernon was at home with other family members when a gold-coloured Mazda Tribute passed by, then turned back and stopped and gunfire sounded.

Vernon was shot several times and apparently died on the spot. Police are investigating.
