Motorcyclist injured after collision at Los Lagos junction

By Aaron Humes: One man is injured and hospitalized after a traffic accident reported earlier this evening on the Philip Goldson Highway in front of the entrance to Los Lagos.

According to Police, driver Nicholas Williams was about to make the turn into the community housing site and had put on his signal light.
But he felt a strong impact and stopped, whereupon he notice a motorcycle on the far left side of the road and a man lying on the ground.

Police were called and learned that the injured man, one Alger Swasey, was riding a motorcycle in the same direction and claimed to have missed the signal light and tried to overtake Williams’ Chrysler SUV on the left but ran into him.

An ambulance rendered medical assistance and police investigations continue.
