The Belize Hurricanes beat the Orange Walk Hurricanes 85-77 at the Orange Walk Multi-Purpose Complex in Orange Walk Town on Saturday night in Week 3 of the Belize Elite Basketball League.

The Hurricanes moved up to three consecutive victories in three games.

Victor Evans led the Hurricanes with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals. Kris Frazier scored 14 pounds, pulled eight rebounds off the glass, made an assist and three steals. Glency Lopez totalled 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Raheem Thurton contributed 11 points, two steals, and an assist.

The Running Rebels are the exact opposite of the Hurricanes having now lost three straight games.

Bryan Hudson led the Rebels with a game high 23 points while James Stanback added 16 to go with five rebounds. Tyrone Hall scored 13 points, collected five rebounds, made two assists and two steals. Dedron Baptist netted 10 points.
