Kaya Cattouse captures 27th Annual Valentine’s Cycling Tour in four hours, 33 minutes, 52 seconds

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Kaya Cattouse of Team LA Sweat won the 27th Annual Valentine’s Cycling Tour sweeping all three stages run on Saturday and Sunday in the Belize District with Belize as its hub.

Cattouse easily won the first stage 38-mile Road Race in one hour, 49 minutes, and 17 seconds. That stage started at 8:20 am at Constitution Park in Belize City, leading out to Leslie’s Imports on the George Price Highway, to Hattieville where it headed to Data Pro via the Burrell Boom Road, and then extended to Digi Mirab via the Philip Goldson Highway.

She then won the Stage 2 3.6-mile Individual Time Trial in 9 minutes and 25 seconds on the John Smith Rad on Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday, she took the Stage 3 51-mile Road Race in two hours, 35 minutes, and 35 seconds. The final stage started and finished at Leslie’s Imports on the George Price Highway. From the start at Leslie’s the race headed to Data Pro via Hattieville, returned to the Faber’s Road Roundabout where it makes a U-turn to Data Pro. From there it returned to finish in front of Leslie’s Imports.
