Taiwan’s Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien bids farewell as he nears end of service in Belize

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Government of Belize, ministers, and friends are extending their gratitude and appreciation to Taiwan Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien as he nears the end of his service in Belize.

Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien is bidding farewell after completing his 2-year service in Belize.

On Wednesday, Ambassador Chien met with Former Deputy Prime Minister Florencio Marin Sr. and discussed the good friendly bilateral relations between Belize and Taiwan.

“We hereby would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to everyone who devote themselves to supporting Belize-Taiwan bilateral relationship and partnering with us to develop this beloved country,” the Taiwan Embassy said.

Since his appointment in 2021, Chien has been a steadfast advocate for the relationship between Taiwan and Belize, supporting numerous projects and programs in the areas of education, health, and technology.
