Man and woman perish in fatal motorcycle accident in Cayo

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man and a woman died as a result of a road traffic accident that occurred in the Cayo District earlier tonight.

Sometime after 8:30 p.m. the victims, who have yet to be identified, were on a motorcycle that collided into an ambulance near the Beaver Dam Bridge in St. Matthew’s Village. The male victim died on the road, while the female victim’s body was flung from the motorcycle and recovered in the nearby bush.

The circumstances under which the collision occurred are now the subject of a police investigation.
