Belize Men’s National Cricket Team to participate in International Cricket Council’s Americas T20 qualifying in Argentina

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Men’s National Cricket Team (BMNCT) will participate in the International Cricket Council’s Americas T20 qualifying tournament to be held from February 23 to March 5 in Argentina.

Belize and five other countries, namely Bermuda, Panama, Argentina, Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands, are to compete in the qualifiers.

“This tournament is the highest level of international cricket in which Belize has participated to date and is a very prestigious position for our country to be in,” the Belize National Cricket Association (BNCA) said in a statement.

“We wish the cricket team every success as a win at this tournament would qualify them to participate at an even higher level later this year.”

The BNCA has not yet disclosed the members and coaching staff of the BMNCT.
