By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) has been working in Monkey River in the Toledo District.
“One of our teams is currently in Monkey River, grading the road and conducting culvert installations,” the MIDH said on Friday.
“A lot of these culverts in place have outlived their time and cannot withstand the realities of climate change. We’re doing all we can to upgrade culverts on our major road networks and in rural communities.”
