Ministry of Infrastructure Development repairs Philip Goldson Highway at Northern entrance to Belize City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) announced that it has started repairing sections of the Philip Goldson Highway at the Northern entrance to Belize City.

“Motorists are advised that major roadwork has commenced on the Philip Goldson Highway to fix sections of the road which have deteriorated and are a hazard to drivers,” the MIDH said in a brief statement posted on social media.

“Please drive with caution and allow for necessary delays due to heavy equipment.”

The MIDH is diverting traffic to either side of the ‘island’ at the center of the boulevard between the Northern entrance and the Haulover Bridge.
