By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service says the weather is dominated by a dry, gusty southeasterly airflow. Skies remain sunny today and mostly clear tonight with little or no rainfall expected in the forecast.
High temperatures stand at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees over inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 80 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 15 to 25 knots, becoming gusty. Sea state will be rough with wave heights of six to eight, later nine feet. A small craft warning remains in effect for strong, gusty winds and rough seas – small craft should remain in safe harbour.
Tides will be high at 12:11 this afternoon then low at 6:52 this evening. The sun sets at 5:57 this evening and rises at 6:14 Friday morning.
The weather remains mainly fair and mostly dry on Friday.
