Man dead following drive-by shooting in Orange Walk this morning

By Benjamin Flowers: An Orange Walk resident is dead following a drive-by shooting in Orange Walk this morning.

Police say that 42-year-old Bradford Smith was opening the padlock on his gate just after 8:00 a.m. when a dark SUV with no license plates drove past and someone fired several shots.

Smith was hit multiple times to the body and was taken to the Northern Regional Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police are investigating.
