Belize Weather: March comes in like a (bleating) lamb

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Mainly fair, dry and windy weather conditions will prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight partly cloudy to clear with little or no rainfall expected.

High temperatures reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees in inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 80 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly, starting at 10 to 20 knots but later becoming gustier in places. The sea begins moderate before becoming moderate to rough with wave heights of five to seven feet. A small craft caution is likely to go into effect later tonight.

Tides will be high at 7:31 this morning and 5:43 this evening, and low at 11:09 this morning. The sun sets at a minute to six this evening and rises at 11 past six Thursday morning.

Continued fair, dry and windy weather is in the forecast for Thursday.
