Ladyville supermarket workers held up

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a hold-up of two workers in Ladyville on Monday night.

Adolfo Ack and Fermin Kuk, both of Lord’s Bank, had left their place of work, U-Mall Supermarket in Ladyville, at 9 p.m. and were headed home. But they were stopped in front of Ladyville Technical High School around 9:30 by four armed men, one known to Ack.

At gunpoint, Kuk was robbed of his wallet containing $1,700 cash and identification and his Samsung A03 cell phone valued at $375 and Ack was robbed of $300 cash for a total of $2,462.

Two persons have been detained pending further investigation.
