By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Benque Viejo United open the Premier League of Belize’s second round hosting Champions Altitude in Benque on Saturday. The match is scheduled for 7:30 pm at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen. Benque find themselves in the fourth position at present while Altitude are in sixth.

That’s the only match on Saturday. Three are left for Sunday.

Fifth place Progresso aiming for a win against leaders San Pedro Pirates at 3:30 pm at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk. Progresso’s goal is to again qualify to the playoffs.

Third place Port Layola will be at home at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex against seventh place Wagiya at 4:00 pm in Belize City.

At the same time, co-leaders Verdes are taking on their archrivals, now under the new name of Internacional who find themselves in the cellar. The match is slated for the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio.
