Former Rap City host Big Tigger in Belize

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize has added another celebrity visitor to the list for 2023, with the arrival of television personality and former BET Rap City host Big Tigger.

A social media post earlier today shows Big Tigger shortly after his arrival at the Philip Goldson International Airport.

Rap City was a music video program block that aired on Black Entertainment Television (BET) from 1989-2008, with Big Tigger hosting from 1998-2005. He also hosted the equally popular 106 and Park show and appeared on the original and remix versions of R-Kelly’s hit song “Snake.”

During his time at Rap City, he conducted freestyle sessions with rap icons such as Jay-z and Nas. Current Opposition Leader Moses “Shyne” Barrow also appeared on the show during the rise of his music career.
