Gas station attendants robbed at the Mall in Cotton Tree

By Aaron Humes: Two gas station attendants working at the Mall Gas Station in Cotton Tree, Cayo District, were robbed on Thursday afternoon.

Darwin Jones was held up by two men on motorcycle at gunpoint. Stolen were his cell phone and a gold chain together valued at $2,200. His colleague Brandon Jones lost his wallet and Samsung A30 phone for a total value of $310, plus the day’s sales of $5,000.

Police have recovered the motorcycle believed to have been used in the incident and a black and yellow helmet along with Jones’ lost phone and chain. Their investigations continue.
