Belize Tourism Board offering $3,000 cash for best Civic Pride jingle

Posted: Sunday, March 5, 2023. 1:58 pm CST.

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Tourism Board has launched a Civic Pride jingle competition, which carries a cash prize of $3,000.

The BTB announced the competition launch this week, explaining that the jingle should be between 30-45 seconds in MP3 format; be easily recognizable or ‘catchy’ with the words “Civic Pride” and “Belize” included in the lyrics.

“The campaign encourages values such as pride and appreciation for Belize, no littering, respect for our national anthem and flag, protection of our flora and fauna, and respect for each other,” the BTB said.

All submissions must be submitted emailed to [email protected] with the subject:”BTB JINGLE COMPETITION” via either Google Drive, WeTransfer, or Dropbox and the lyrics should be provided in a separate document.

The deadline for submissions is April 17.
