BREAKING: Monday night shooting reported in the Culture Capital

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has received information that there was a shooting incident a short while ago in the Culture Capital, Dangriga.

Reports are that the incident occurred on Ecumenical Drive and that one person may have been injured.

Dangriga has seen an increase in shootings for some time now and as a result Police Minister Kareem Musa indicated that more officers will soon be deployed to the area. The deployment, Musa says, will occur immediately following the passing out of the police intake that is currently undergoing training at the Police Training Academy in Belmopan.
