International News: Over 300 migrants found in abandoned truck trailer in Mexico

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Sunday night, authorities in Mexico found 343 migrants including 103 unaccompanied minors in an abandoned truck container in Veracruz, The Associated Press Reports.

Law enforcement authorities made the discovery on a route that is often used by smugglers to bring migrants.

Authorities say the migrants were in good health.

Investigators say that the trailer demonstrated the advanced operations of smugglers since it had fans and ventilation ports.

The adult migrants were mostly from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Ecuador and the minors from Guatemala.
