By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Led by captain Roshanny Narváez, the Belize Under-19 Women’s National Team (U-19 BWNT) rallied after falling behind in the 3rd minute and tied take the match against Guatemala at 1-1 at the beginning of the second half in their second game in the 2023 Central American Football Union (UNCAF) FIFA Forward Under-19 Championship in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Belize’s goal came through Khalydia Velasquez in the 51st minute.
On Sunday, Belize lost 2-0 to Honduras in their opening match. The U-19 BWNT’s final match in the first round is going to be against Panama on Thursday, March 9, at 11:00 am.
The final games are scheduled for Saturday, March 11.
All matches will be played at the Olimpia High Performance Center (CAR CD Olimpia) in Tegucigalpa.
