Roaring Creek shooting victim identified as Erasmus Lino

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man was shot in Roaring Creek Village, Cayo District, a short while ago.
Reports are that the victim was shot around 7:30 p.m. and was taken for medical treatment shortly after.
His condition is unknown at this time.
We note that police held mediation sessions in Roaring Creek recently, in an effort to mitigate tensions between rival groups. There is no information at this time to suggest the shooting is connected to any of the groups that attended the session.
