By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Charlie’s Cave Tubing of San Estevan downed Progresso 2-1 at the beginning of the Orange Walk 1st Division Closing Championship at the Louisiana Football Field on Monday.

Diedron Baptist scored in the 36’ and the 90’+2 while Eliezer Itza got one for Progresso in the 36’.

San Jose drew with the San Jose Pumas 1-1

Tyrese Augustine opened the hostilities for the San Jose Pumas but Victor Novelo tied it for San Jose.

Guinea Grass defeated Mi Gente 2-1 on goals by Nigel Grant in the 4’ and Josue Acevedo in the 17’. Miguel Yco scored for Mi Gente in the 69’ from a penalty kick.

Sinbad blanked Galacticos 2-0. Raheem Eagan and Shamir Duran scored late in the match to give Sinbad the three points.
