The Houston Belize United (HBU) lost 7-5 to Halcones in the Quintana Roo Second Division Baseball Liga ‘Sheriff’ Casanova in Chetumal on Sunday. The loss was Houston Belize United’s second loss, cutting their three-game winning streak. They have now fallen to a 4-2 record at the end of the first round.

In other games, Broncos beat Lobos 7 runs to 6 while Caguamos ripped Quetzales 18-7.

According to pitcher Anthony Smith, HBU fought hard but unfortunately lost the game despite the support of many Belizeans who showed up to their game in Chetumal.
